Hello!
I installed my copy of Vista on a second partition without a hitch. However, it didn't have the sound drivers for my Audigy 2. I went to Creatives site, downloaded the Vista 32 drivers and proceeded with the install. It never finished and said I needed to try again. I rebooted, started up the install and it said:
This wont work with my current operating system. Please upgrade to Windows Vista or higher.
I deleted the registery entries for creative and this still happens and now I am stuck. Suggestions?

Did the driver documentation indicate which Vista build they are for? I
thing I recall other posts here that indicated they were for 5308. You may be stuck until Creative issues updated drivers.
Try installing the XP64 bit drivers. Vista even the 32bit version wants signed drivers - which the Creative XP64bit ones are. I read else where that people have had sucess install the 64 bit drivers on 32bit Vista. You may need to install them twice before you actually hear sound.

Yep, that worked for me. Go to creative's site and download the XP 64 professional drivers. I only had to install them once... Still no gameport support but I dont use it anyway.
