Problem with Creative Audigy
I installed the Audigy, and installed the necessary Windows drivers. Everything went find...no errors in the Device Manager. Yet, there's no sound. Lspci says that the Creative controler is 04:02.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Audigy (rev 04). I understand there are a number of drivers for the Audigy, and I might be using the wrong one. There is also an on-board ich6 sound system, but this is turned off at the BIOS level.

Soundblaster Audigy / Audigy 2
I installed all the VIA 4in1 drivers with all the default settings. The copy from CD to hard disk of Wolfenstein worked okay again. I then installed the Audigy player drivers. NOW, the copy from the CD to the hard disk failed! I then installed the updated Audigy drivers, and still the problem persisted.

Yeah, thanks for botching up my video in the process, Dave. Latest drivers installed for the video card, and there are no drivers available for Creative Audigy Platinum. If I pull out the sound card, the video works fine. Put it back in, and is screws up the video drivers. Anybody with any suggestions?
